Considering a fall mini session? Here is everything you need to know! Twenty-minute fall mini sessions will be held at the Haverford Arboretum in Haverford, Pennsylvania on Saturday, September 21st and at Valley Forge National Historical Park Haverford Arboretum in Haverford, Pennsylvania on Saturday, October 12th. Please note, the mini sessions originally scheduled for Valley Forge have been relocated to Haverford due to significant demand for this location. Each session includes five edited digital high-resolution photos presented in an online gallery with print release. Session attendees will have the option to purchase additional photos or the entire gallery. Every client receives a complimentary Style Guide. The Style Guide includes everything you need to know to make the most of your session.

After you select your date, you will receive an email from me within a few days with a personalized contract and invoice. You will have forty-eight hours to sign and pay the retainer to lock in your date.

I’m not sure if I should book a mini session or full session. What should I consider?

The main difference between the two is the investment in time and expense. Consider what goal you have for your session. To learn more about the pros and cons of fall mini sessions, read this blog post that explains both in detail!

How much does a fall mini session cost?

Fall mini sessions cost $150.00 plus tax with a 50% nonrefundable retainer due at contract signing. The remaining payment is due 48 hours before the session.

How many photos will I receive? When will I get them?

In your session, you’ll receive 5 beautifully edited photos that capture your special moments. I want you to have the flexibility to choose what’s right for you, so if you fall in love with more images, you’re welcome to purchase additional photos—but only if you want to. This way, you get exactly what you need, no more, no less.

My contract allows for a six-week turnaround for delivering your gallery, but in most cases, you’ll receive your photos within just a week or two. I include the extra time in the contract to account for any unforeseen circumstances, so you can rest assured that your photos are a priority and will be ready as soon as possible.

Do I get to select the 5 photos I want to purchase?

Absolutely! After your session, you’ll receive a preview gallery where you can view all the images. From there, you can choose the ones you love the most as your included five photos. You can also purchase additional photos at this time if you would like to do so. This way, you’re only selecting the photos that truly resonate with you.

What happens if I need to reschedule?

You are welcome to reschedule your fall mini session to any other open slots at Haverford or Valley Forge up until two days before the session. Rescheduling can be completed through the link you will receive in your email. Please reach out if you need to reschedule close to your session date.

What happens if I need to cancel?

Please let me know as soon as possible if you need to cancel your fall mini session! I will apply your retainer to a different mini session. Sometimes kids get sick or life happens!

What if it rains or the weather is poor?

I will provide a new date for the scheduled mini sessions. This new date will also be on a weekend. As your date gets closer, I will be in touch about any potential weather concerns. Generally, if there are high winds or rain is likely, I will reschedule. Overcast or cloudy days are not a problem.

What if I’m running late?

Due to the nature of mini sessions and to respect the schedules of my other clients, I do not have the flexibility to accommodate late arrivals outside of the scheduled time. We will use whatever time is left within your session to get as many great photos as we can.
